Charles Delcourt is a former landscape architect. His pictures show a great sense of composition, give an accurate place to human beings and things. His is the author of “Face Nord”, a journey from coal tip to coal tip, taking time for discovery, helped by his landscape architecture training. As a smiling passenger, curious of people, he makes funny and soul-stirring images in sympathy with people met on his way. He photographs places such as La Réunion, New York, Singapour, Chile, Morocco, Netherlands, where this photograph has been taken.
