Tim Franco is a Shanghai based photographer. From 2009, he followed the crazy development of Chongqing, one of the biggest cities in central China, that went through one of the fastest development process in the country. Part of this work has been published in famous medias for the last years (NY Times, 6 mois, Le monde…). Metamorpolis now summarize all the pictures of the project.

Ren Yidi, portrayed in this picture, has been moved from his farmlands and given two sets of apartments. He is still growing vegetables not far from his apartment near a construction site. In Chongqing, China.
